We are what the
everyday home is missing.
HomeofTan is a curated home brand — not a label, not a factory, not a wedding-gift brand. We make and gather the considered objects an Indian home actually lives with.

Most of what you can buy for an Indian home is either mass-produced and joyless, or beautiful and priced for a wedding registry. There is very little in between — very little you would actually use on a Tuesday.
HomeofTan is the in-between.
Considered
Someone thought about how this object would be used, by whom, and how often. The handle was shaped for a hand, not for a mould.
Made to last
The glaze is fired at a temperature that means it won't scratch with a spoon. The base is sanded so it doesn't mark the table. The rim is rounded so it doesn't chip.
Everyday
The object is designed to be used, not displayed. It can go in the dishwasher. It can be stacked. It can be dropped and replaced without grief.
Not a label. A way of living.
We stand for the belief that the everyday deserves finesse. The cup in your hand at 7am. The bowl that holds your keys. The plate you eat dinner off while watching something on your phone.
We represent the in-between — objects that are beautiful without being precious, considered without being cold, made to be used on a Tuesday and still loved on a Sunday. This is a brand about what home means, not what home costs.

Tanya Vats.
Tanya began her working life as a German translator — a study in precision, in patience, and in the quiet craft of carrying meaning from one language into another. But alongside the words ran a quieter pull: a love for the arts, for pottery, and for the old, considered objects of another time.
A deep-rooted fondness for classics and antiques taught her that the things we keep longest are rarely the loudest — they are the ones made with care, used often, and lived with gently. That belief became HomeofTan.
Today, Tanya is building a curated home brand with one mission — to bring finesse to every Indian home. Not the finesse of a showroom, but the everyday kind: the cup, the bowl, the plate that makes an ordinary Tuesday feel a little more considered.
